Step into a realm where gothic fantasy and cinematic imagination collide. The Great British Film Orchestra embarks on a spellbinding UK-wide tour, presenting an orchestral journey through iconic scores filled with dark grandeur, whimsical charm and mischievous energy.
For more than four decades, Danny Elfman’s distinctive musical voice has helped define Tim Burton’s unmistakable creative vision. Blending playful melodies with haunting orchestration, his extraordinary compositions move effortlessly between beauty and darkness, creating soundscapes every bit as memorable as the stories they accompany.
The concert also ventures beyond their celebrated collaboration, bringing together music from a wider cinematic universe. Expect magical themes, supernatural thrills and wonderfully strange compositions that capture the same imaginative spirit.
One of the UK’s premier ensembles dedicated to film music, The Great British Film Orchestra is renowned for its rich, cinematic sound and immersive performances. The orchestra transforms each concert into a theatrical experience, transporting audiences through enchanted forests, haunted mansions, moonlit graveyards and fantastical worlds where the impossible feels beautifully real.
